2026 Summer Games Festival live: Top news, trailers and announcements

Geoff Keighley's annual game party in June is here. Summer Game Fest Live, the great live show with a whole range of gaming news and announcements, starts at 17:00 ET and will last two hours. The event itself takes place personally at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, but will also be broadcast live on YouTube.

The Summer Game Fest Live is located in the middle of a wide range of video game showcases. PlayStation held a state of play on Tuesday and the Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday. This does not mean that there will be no big surprises. Last year, Capcom used the show, for example, to announce Resident Evil Requiem. According to the description of this year’s live stream, you can look forward to a “live-click on the next steps in video games, with announcements of new games, special surprise guests and much more”, and although this is not very specific, Keighley probably has some striking news in stock.
