82-0 combines the immense fun of fantasy basketball with the instant gratification and a little bit of luck. The goal is to draft a team full of players who can (theoretically) have a perfect 82-0 season.

Obviously, if you were free to choose whomever you wanted throughout history, there would be little difficulty. What's unique is that the site randomly selects a team and era and then selects one player. For example, if you picked the Knicks and the 2020s, you'd get a new team and era where you could pick Jalen Brunson as your point guard and then pick a center.

If you don't like your choices, you can reform your team once and your era once. But that's it. Part of the challenge is knowing exactly when to be satisfied with the task ahead of you and when to hope for the best. Domantas Sabonis is a great player. But would you rather reshuffle or select someone else from the Kings to pull Wilt Chamberlain in a later round?

There's also a HoopIQ mode that hides all your stats and basically requires an encyclopedic knowledge of basketball to record a perfect season. But honestly, it's pretty difficult even when you have the statistics right in front of you. The best I could get was 78-4. There are already clones like SixRings being created on databallr, but in my experience they are pretty unstable.
