A lot of new equipment was presented at Computex 2026, and ASUS is one of the companies that have thoroughly refreshed its portfolio. The company's offer even includes a new portable game console, the ROG XBOX Ally X20, but there is no doubt that notebooks remain the apple of this manufacturer's eye.
The ASUS offer includes dozens of laptops from various series - from budget office equipment to powerful machines for gamers and creative creators. I decided to choose the three most impressive models from those that the company showed off during Computex 2026.
ASUS ProArt P16 and P14 with Nvidia RTX Spark - a laptop for a professional
The most interesting of the new devices are undoubtedly two laptops from the series addressed to multimedia creators, which are ASUS ProArt P16 and ASUS ProArt P14. The hearts of these devices are not chips from companies such as AMD or Intel, but the brand new RTX Spark system designed by Nvidia.
Nvidia RTX Spark is a chip using the ARM architecture, which has 20 CPU Nvidia GRACE cores and an Nvidia Blackwell RTX graphics chip with 6144 CUDA cores. It provides 1 petaflop of computing power when performing calculations related to broadly understood artificial intelligence.
ASUS, of course, changes AI on the occasion of the premiere of laptops with this chip in all cases, but we also learned something about the specifications of the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 models. Laptops can have up to 128 GB of unified memory shared by the CPU and GPU.
Both feature ASUS Lumina Pro OLED panels with 4K and 3K resolutions, respectively, at 100 percent coverage. DCI-P3, brightness in HDR mode up to 1600 nits and refreshment with a dynamically changing frequency up to 120 Hz. There are also USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1 ports, an SD card reader and a Wi-Fi 7 module.
What about the dimensions of these devices? ASUS ProArt P16 is only 12.9 mm thick and weighs 1.77 kg, while ASUS ProArt P16 weighs 1.48 kg and is 13.9 mm thick. Both of them also have the manufacturer's proprietary software installed in the form of ProArt Creator Hub, ASUS StoryCube and ASUS MuseTree.
ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2026) - a gaming laptop
During the Computex fair, the company is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand and on this occasion presented a lot of accessories and, of course, laptops for gamers. The most interesting of them from my perspective is the huge and extremely powerful ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2026).
In this case, we have the top Intel chip, i.e. Core Ultra 9 290HX (up to 5.5 GHz, 36 MB Cache, 24 cores/threads) and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics chip with 8 GB GDDR7 overclocked to 1610 MHz. NPU is supposed to reach 13 TOPS thanks to the Intel AI Boost function.
Games generated by this machine are displayed on an 18-inch panel with a 2.5K resolution (2560 by 1600 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio) refreshed at up to 300 Hz. The response time of this anti-reflection screen that provides 100% coverage. DCI-P3, is only 3 ms.
The housing also has room for a number of ports, including HDMI 2.1 FRL, 3x USB-A, 1x USB-C, 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x Ethernet and a minijack, as well as Aura Sync LEDs. The Wi-Fi 7 module is responsible for connectivity, and the whole thing weighs 3.2 kg, while the thickness of this laptop is from 2.35 to 3.2 cm.
Interestingly, along with the laptop we will also receive accessories from ASUS. The manufacturer states that in selected markets the notebook will be offered in a set with a ROG-branded backpack matching its size and a gaming mouse called ROG Impact.
ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3480 - a laptop for everyone
What about people who need a compact laptop for office work? In this segment, the ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3480 model attracts the most attention. This tiny laptop with Windows 11 Home is equipped with a metal casing with a lid made of Ceraluminum, and it weighs only 1.1 kg.
The energy-saving Snapdragon front of the device with a camera supporting Windows Hello in a narrow frame.
What about ports? On the right side there is USB-A for connecting e.g. a wired mouse, and on the left we have HDMI 2.1, 2x USB-C and a minijack. Additionally, we have Wi-Fi 6e and a backlit keyboard, all in a 1.39-1.69 cm thick housing.

The main distinguishing feature of this model is the operating time. ASUS estimates that the Zenbook 14 UX3480 will last over 21 hours away from the socket on a single charge (28 W TDP). The device is available in three eye-catching colors: pink, blue and beige.
