Beijing: June 8th. Card

Information from IT House on 5 June 2026, the city of Beijing will officially launch the new electric bike plate, which aims to further regulate the management of electric bicycles throughout the city and maintain road traffic order.

The introduction of the new plate was based on the newly amended Beijing Regulation on Non-Modern Vehicle Management, which became effective on 1 May 2026, marking a new stage in the management of non-motorized vehicles in Beijing, towards a more refined and rule of law.

With the new number on the line, the electric bicycles in the streets of Beijing are about to be fully replaced and each car will have a clearer and more legal “identity mark”.

According to official disclosure and public consultation by the Transport Administration of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, the new electric bike plate, which was launched on this occasion, was carefully weighed in terms of material and specifications.

The IT House noted that the new electric bike plate was green-floor, white-charted white-coloured, each side of the side, with materials of engineering plastic and 2-dimensional code on the surface. Card size: 200 mm (long) x 100 mm (wide). Card characters are upper and lower double row structures and upper rows are Beijing.
