News from IT House 6 June, XMG, a German PC manufacturer under the flag of Schenker, previewed the first 18-inch laptop of the brand, XMG PRO 18 (M26), at the COMPUTEX 2026 Taipei International Computer Fair since its 2011 XML P801.

XML PRO 18 shared technology platform with a smaller XML PRO 16 standard version of the Intel Cool Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU, the low-end Value Edition version is downgraded to Ultra 7 270HX Plus + RTX 5070 (12GB).

On the screen, XMG PRO 18 uses 100% DCI-P3 colour field IPS panel with 2560 x 1600 300 Hz 500nits, Value Edition down to 180 Hz refresh rate.

It is equipped with 2 DDR5-6400 CSO-DIMM memory slots, 2 M.2 SSD storage slots (one PCIe Gen5 and one Gen4). I/O includes Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Net Cards, Thunder 4, HDMI 2.1, Mini Display Port 2.1, 2.5 GbE RJ45, SD Express Readers, etc.

XMG PRO 18 with PRO 18 Value Edition with four speakers and 99 Wh Batteries, 24.5 mm thick and 2.8kg mass.

XMG also announced a change in the NEO 16 playbook. Other CPU Upgraded to the Intel Smart Ultra 9 Processor 290HX Plus, optional 2560 x 1600 resolution Mini LED or OLD screen, the former SDR brightness 750nits, HDR brightness 1000nits, the latter SDR brightness 500nits, HDR brightness not yet published.

The new paragraphs XMG APEX 17 (9955HX), XMG APEX 16 (9955HX / 8945HX), XMG PRO 16 Value Evaluation (1490HX) will be available for the selection of the 12-GB flash version of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU.
