The perpetrators set up a false web site with an interface that is highly similar to the official one, and set up a “link to the relevant entrance to the examination” as a “trust endorsement” to induce the online population to wrongly use it as an official substation, thereby defrauding candidates and parents and reducing their guard.

Precision hunting, aiming at the “evading” mentality. Through social platforms, traffic is imported into a fake website, targeting candidates and parents who have lost their exams, are under stress and fear of family disappointment. Using the sense of vulnerability of the person concerned that he or she “does not want to face reality and that he or she is in need of an answer”, false websites are packaged into grey channels that “solve trouble”.

Trafficking in false images and harvesting of “shaming fees”. Fees are charged on the basis of the provision of the Custom Achievement page, “Generating Fingershots”. In essence, these so-called “accomplishments” are not recorded in any official system, but are just visual frauds created by phototoshop or front-end codes. This is not only a fraud, but also a serious incentive for candidates to use false results to deceive their families and interfere with decisions such as voluntary filing or repetition.

Cyberpolice warns that the Internet is not an extrajudicial place, and that impersonating a network of educational examination officials, using information networks to generate false test results for profit and suspected of using information networks illegally, will be severely combated by law.
