The developers behind Star Wars Zero Company have unveiled the official gameplay trailer on the Summer Game Festival 2026. You have also announced that the game from the 27th August on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series

Respawn has the game with a new studio called Bit Reactor developed, with EA as editor. The studio consists of former employees of Firaxis Games and was also founded by Greg Foertsch, the leading art director of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2. That's why it wasn't a big surprise that Star Wars Zero Company showed similarities to XCOM in his announcing trailer in April.

“Our team has put everything we love about Star Wars in Zero Company,” said Foertsch. “We have worked hand in hand with Lucasfilm Games to create an authentic Star Wars story full of unique new characters, robust character adaptation, a new ship, separatist droids and much more, all rooted in the conflict of the cloning wars.”

The story of the game plays in the “internal light phase of the cloning wars” and revolves around the former Republican officer Hawks. As Hawks, you have to recruit allies throughout the galaxy and all species to assemble a team and chase Kundri Fathom, the leader of a cult of the Dark Side, which is a threat to the entire galaxy. The “Höhle” will be your operating base from which you will form teams and send groups of your friends, so-called operators, to various locations on the map. And due to the scene of the game you will meet Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi General at this time, which is also on an important mission.

You can now preorder Star Wars Zero Company for $70 in the Standard Edition for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A deluxe edition that unlocks cosmetic packages, five painted weapons themes and the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack, which contains an R3-Droiden, is also available.
