Final Fantasy 7: The Apocalypse will land on the platform in spring 2027.

The final chapters will be published simultaneously on PS5, Switch 2, Xbox and PC.

The final chapter of Square Enix's RPG reformulation is about to come, and this is remarkable in Sony's State of Play absence (probably because it does not need so much heat). In a big show on Friday night at SRF 2026, we saw the FF7 team continue to tour the world in the absence of a member. (The 1997 dramatic is still dramatic.

The trailer begins with a quick summary of the original game and describes it as a different story. We have also seen the operation of the landmark ship Highwind, which has achieved a new seamless integration between the ship and the world navigation on the ground through its parachute.

There is a short picture of West Germany and Vincent joining the line for the first time. You can still exchange roles in battle, and Vincent will be able to film parts of the environment in the game, although we are not sure whether it is limited to certain chapters, such as Reproduction and Rebirth, or the whole game.

A new equipment system called “Fits” would clearly unlock new movements and combat reinforcements, while also providing a new degree of customization for the role in the game. Is there another way to make money through DLC?

Thirty years after the original version of Fantasia 7 was launched on the original PlayStation, the release of 2027 will be the perfect end of a new edition. Square Enix recreated one of the most influential role-playing games in history, dramatically adjusted the story and built a whole new combat system.

We are not in a position to gather information on how the last chapter can further improve combat systems, but I am sure that there will be more to explore/complain. Will we see more at the SRF 2026 field event tomorrow? It's unlikely, because Scwire Ennix didn't show up this year. It was cruel when I came here myself.
