Silent Hill: Townfall will be released on September 24 for PlayStation 5 and PC. Unlike most games in the horror franchise, Townfall uses a first-person perspective.
It was already announced in February that Silent Hill: Townfall will be released in 2026, but now Konami has announced the full release date. The horror game is set in a remote coastal village in Scotland. The player takes on the role of Simon Ordell, who has to survive in the village. Along the way he is helped via a portable CRTV by a certain Zoe, a nurse who seems to have an unknown bond with Simon.
In addition to the free sweetie Silent Hill: The Short Message, Townfall is the first game in the series that uses the first-person perspective. Townfall places a lot of emphasis on puzzle solving and also contains stealth elements and occasional combat.
After years of no Silent Hill games, 2026 will be the third year in a row in which a game in the franchise is released.
