According to information from IT House, dated 7 June, journalists were officially released yesterday (6 June) from the National Standards Commission (NSC) on the four national standard days of the Travel Agency Senior Tourism Service Requirements, the Accessible Tourism Service Regulation Tour Hotels, the Smart Operating Management Requirements for Tour View Areas, and the Quality of Service Requirements for Tour Shopping Places.
The new national logo covers the four main forms of tourism: travel agencies, tourist hotels, tourist attractions, tourist shopping malls, and the six main elements of “food and recreation” tourism, taking into account the differentiated needs of different groups of the elderly, special groups and ordinary tourists.
The report mentions that local efforts are under way to advance the intelligent operation of the attractions, to effectively enhance the capacity for timely and accurate early warning of risks, to protect the identity of tourists, and to secure the integration and transmission of key data information, such as payments, and that the new version of the National Standards for the Management of the Smart Operation of the tourist attractions regulates.
The standards cover infrastructure, data management, smart management, intelligent services, smart marketing, and the six core technology blocks of the intellectual experience, with full coverage of the entire process of building, operating, managing and servicing the landscape. For the first time, the standard clearly defines “smart operations management”: Integrated application of new generation of information technologies to achieve smart perceptions, dynamic analysis, smart decision-making and real-time optimization of operations management activities.
The IT House was informed that the standard requires real-time passenger flow monitoring systems in the viewing area, smart monitoring of instant-time passenger-flow areas and timely early warning guidance. At the same time, an integrated emergency command centre should be established to integrate surveillance, communications and movement control systems and to provide integrated command and control of the rescue force; an emergency communications network, including satellite communications, wireless communications and other means, should be built to ensure smooth communications in emergency situations; and the information technology should be used to manage maximum loads, achieve automatic warning and report.
The Director General of the China Tourist Landscape Association, Huo Jianjun, introduced the standards by adding an ageing orientation interface and an accessibility guide to ensure easy access to the smart system for older persons, tourists and persons with disabilities.
