HYTE has released RGB versions of its own fans for the first time. The company has been making fans for some time, but is now introducing the first with lighting in the Thicc series. The company is also showing new Nexus software, which should also work in the browser and will therefore also be interesting for Linux users.
HYTE shows the new fans during the Computex fair in Taiwan. The Thicc FR12 RGB series is the company's first line of RGB fans, joining the existing Thicc fans. The Thicc FR12 will be available in separate models of 120mm or three models in a frame for 360mm.
The fans can be installed standard or reversible. The fans have 68 Arb LEDs and can be controlled with pulse width modulation (PWM). The frames are available in white and black. In addition to fans, HYTE also comes with the ARGB Noodle LN80, an LED strip with 45 LEDs that can be placed in a build with clips.
Software for the browser
At the fair, HYTE also showed a preview of the new version of its Nexus software for the first time, which will also be available in the browser. Until now, Nexus was only available for Windows, but with a browser version the company also wants to offer the software to Linux users.
A closed beta should start soon, but HYTE does not want to go for a public release until all software in the browser works as well as the desktop software. The company does not say when that will be. HYTE does say that all old HYTE products also work with the new browser software.
