Samsung is preparing a new Galaxy Unpacked meeting, expected on July 22, 2026 in London, a priori. This summer event promises to be major and will be dedicated to several product categories, including folding smartphones and connected watches. Thus, the Galaxy Watch 9 series would be announced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8, their “large” variant, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 as well as Galaxy Glasses connected glasses.
Samsung is therefore preparing at least two new models: the Galaxy Watch 9 and a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, which would succeed the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra respectively.

Recently, both watches were certified and appear in 3C's database in China, bearing the references SM‑L3550 and SM‑L7150 corresponding to the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 respectively.

Although these documents do not detail all the technical characteristics, they do indicate the charging capacities. Thus, according to the certification dated June 3, the two references are associated with a load of 10 W, or 5 V at 2 A. According to the site, this means that the new watches will remain on a power similar to that of previous generations.
Concerning the battery itself, it is rumored that that of the Galaxy Watch 9 would have a capacity of 435 mAh, like the Galaxy Watch 8. At this stage, no precise figures have filtered for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and the 3C documents do not detail the capacity of its battery.
