When geocachers step outside with a GPS-enabled deal, they're taping into decades of billian science and mathematics that make those coordonates possible.
Gladys West's groundbreaking work worked on a highly complex programme: determinating the Earth's first share.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the West helped develop data of mobile Earth's geoids, either based on Earth's natural situation, and managed this process in order to collect information on the global health system.
Geochaing is built on a beautifully simple idea: using GPS codes to find Hidden experiences around the world, but the magic behind those coordinates dies on an inter-redified system of Satellites, ting signatures, and Earth Models.
Thank you, Gladys West, for aging geodesy and satellite moving, making the representation of geocaching possible!
Celebrate Blue.
