IT House June 6 News, Technology Media Android Yesterday, June 5th, Authority published a blog that reported that Google denied “the idea of setting AI Mode as the Chrome default search method”.
The IT home reported yesterday that in the latest Chrome browser on the Canary channel, a new Fulfill Searchbox Queries in AI Mode test option was added, and when enabled the user enters a query in the address bar or search box and enters AI Mode directly.
In response, many media speculated that Google would further promote AI Mode and that it would not rule out the possibility of setting it up as the Chrome Browser’s default search engine in the future.
The Vice-President of Google Search Engineering, Rajan Patel, subsequently responded that the publication was wrong and that the company currently had no plan to set AI Mode as the Chrome search default option.
However, the media believes that the “mistakes” here point more precisely to the fact that the function should not appear in the public version of Canary this time, rather than necessarily mean that Google does not test the function inside.
