Go.ogle announced that, starting this summer, Google's wallet will support digital identity cards in some EU countries. Thanks to cooperation with Sparkasse Bank, the digital ID extension also includes a new method of age verification through Google wallets.

The bulletin did not specify which European Union countries would be able to add their identity documents to Google wallets, but the process might be similar to the way the application supported the addition of passports in the United Kingdom and the United States.
