We are now entering the Development Conference season, and one of the themes to date has been the conviction of large technology companies that artificial intelligence will change the way we do things. Nvidia Jensen Huang expressed this more clearly than anyone this week, describing an entirely new way of using laptops and a completely new laptop that supports them. It's all very interesting, but it raises the same question about many artificial intelligence products: does anyone really want this?
