We are now entering the Development Conference season, and one of the themes to date has been the conviction of large technology companies that artificial intelligence will change the way we do things. Nvidia Jensen Huang expressed this more clearly than anyone this week, describing an entirely new way of using laptops and a completely new laptop that supports them. It's all very interesting, but it raises the same question about many artificial intelligence products: does anyone really want this?

In this concentration in The Vergecast, Nilay and David introduced from Microsoft Build and Google I/O many products from Gemini. Spark to Nvidia RTX Spark to Microsoft's Scott and Solara projects. Artificial intelligence agents are everywhere and everywhere, but we are not sure how to look at them. Should we rethink our laptops thoroughly so that they can run artificial intelligence models? Or is the "more powerful laptop" enough to do the job?
