HYTE shows case with panoramic panel and four ARB fans for $100

Authors

HYTE has shown its cheapest chassis to date at Computex: the Y50 RGB. The cabinet will cost $99.99. The exact European price is not yet known. This is probably around 120 euros. The cabinet will probably be released in the third quarter.

HYTE supplies the Y50 with four Arb fans, with each fan blade equipped with eight LED lights. Three of these fans have inverted blades and are part of a 360mm frame. The cabinet offers space for up to nine 120mm fans or two 360mm water coolers.

The Y50, like the Y60 and Y70, has a three-piece panoramic panel made of tempered glass. Unlike those cases, the Y50 does not have a vertical GPU mount. The case is compatible with eATX motherboards and also supports 'cableless' motherboards, where most cables can be hidden on the back of a PC. The GPU may be a maximum of 360mm long and 170mm wide.

The cabinet has a total of seven PCIe expansion slots and has two USB-A inputs, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm combo jack. These can be found at the bottom of the cabinet, under the middle glass panel. Pre-orders for the Y50 start this month. HYTE gives a four-year manufacturer's warranty.
