I optimized Zorin OS to achieve the best eight methods of performance - from decades to decades. Linux User
Like most Linux releases, Zorin OS offers many functions, especially in customization. These are my favorite adjustments and why you should do the same.
Zorin OS is one of the best Linux releases.
There are countless potential customizations.
These are the settings that I think I have to set.
I'm a big fan of Zorin OS. I compared the operating system with those of Linux Mint and AnduininOS, and found that it was always in the lead. In short, 10 out of 10; recommended.
Zorin OS is open, looks and performance are good, but there is always a need to adjust and customize the desktop operating system to make it more aesthetic or workflow-friendly.
I want to show you the Zorin operating system settings that I adjust every time I install.
Please note that these changes are only a matter of personal preference. I like the possibility of not meeting your requirements. But I'm sure you'd like at least to use some of these adjustments.
That said, let's get started.
1. Zorin layout
One of the coolest tools in Zorin OS is the look tool. With Zorin Appearance, you can quickly change the desktop layout. The free version provides four layouts and the professional version (US$ 47.99) doubles the layout.
But even available options can be adjusted. For example, you can use the default GNOME layout and easily turn it into a MacOS-like desktop. Each layout can be customised, so you select a layout and start to modify it until you fully achieve what you want.
If you're like me, you'll eventually change the layout many times.
2. Zorin Sprint
In every desktop I use, there's an extension dock at the bottom of the screen. I found the pier very efficient and in line with my aesthetic. Whether I'm using Linux or MacOS,WindowsThere's an extension station, and I use it extensively.
On Zorin OS you can enable Dash, which is similar to the Dash To Dock extension for GNOME.
With the help of Zorin Dash, you can customize the building in many ways to make it unique and effective. Zorin Dash is also quite elegant and can easily give a transparent look.
To enable Zorin Dash, open the extension application, scroll down and click the switch/slash that is associated with the function until it is open.
3. Online Account
Through the online account function, I can use any number of online accounts (e.g. Googlerelates to the desktop. With this, I can use mine. Go.The ogle calendar, Gmail, address book, etc. are integrated into various applications on the desktop or desktop menu (e.g. calendar and e-mail applications).
By connecting to online accounts, I need not worry about configuring each application to connect these services.
To access an online account, open Settings, and then click the Online Account in the left sidebar. Then you can select the account you want to add and operate with the wizard of the account.
Jell-O model
I like Jell-O mode. In essence, this function shakes the window as you move it. No, Jelly mode will not make you more efficient or better Linux user, but it is really interesting. This effect is my first effect on Zorin OS, just because it makes me smile.
To enable Jell-O mode, open the Zorin look, click the effect, and move the Jell-O slider to the opening position.
5. Desktop cube
Desktop Cube brought me back to the time of the window manager Compiz. Using Desktop Cube, you can navigate the desktop (and its virtual desktops) by clicking on the Summary button (an ellipse shown in the panel), by clicking the left mouse button and dragging the mouse.
Desktop Cube provides you with 3D representation for the desktop and its layout. This function has produced impressive results, and I like to show off to those who have not experienced Linux ' s powerful functions and piety.
To enable Desktop Cube, open the Zorin look, go to effect, and then move the slider to the open position.
Desktop icons
I hate icons on the desktop. I know most people like them because they can easily access applications, documents or bookmarks, but I think they will immediately destroy the desktop look that I have adapted to my aesthetics.
For this reason, I always disable icons on the desktop. Using Zorin OS, this task can be performed in an icon on the Zorin Appearance > Desktop > Desktop.
7. Zorin tiles
The more I use the flat window manager, the more I like them, because they are the most effective way to place windows on the desktop.
Zorin OS lays an advanced window in the Zorin Appearance > Window > Advanced Window.
When this feature is enabled, you can click the window and drag it to the top, and then select the location you want. Or you can drag the window to an area to place it.
In Settings, you can customise elements such as displaying indicators, gaps, thresholds, animated peace-spreading behaviour.
8. Security Shell access
Zorin OS can easily access the Secure Shell (SSH) desktop. All you have to do is open the Settings and go to the System > Safety Shell. When you get there, click the button/switch slider for Secure Shell until it is open.
One thing to remember is that Secure Shell will provide commands to access the desktop, but it uses the host name. You need to find the IP address of the desktop to connect to that address via SSH.
