In addition to striking concept enclosures, Phanteks also comes with 'normal' XT enclosures

In addition to a number of unorthodox concept housings, Phanteks also showed new 'normal' computer cases. This concerns three models in the XT series. A version of the V5 will be released with a glass front, but also with an LCD screen in the case.

Tweakers spotted those housings at the Computex fair. Phanteks is showing three new models in the XT series, the standard range of Phanteks housings. One of them is the Phanteks XT M5. That is a larger version of the Phanteks XT M3, which was released last year and which Tweakers also reviewed. While the XT M3 is still a mATX case, the M5 is larger. It can support ATX motherboards.

The M5 can also handle GPUs of up to 425mm in size and has a support in the chassis that ensures that the GPU does not drop. There is also room in that cabinet for a cooler of up to 360mm. The M5 comes with four 120mm S25 ARGB fans, three of which are in a frame at the bottom.

Glass panel and LCD

Phanteks continues with two models of the XT V5. In practice, it has the same specifications as the M5 above, but the biggest difference is that the V5 has a glass front panel for more viewing options. On the M5 this is a simple mesh panel.

There is also the V5 LCD. The only difference between them is that that model has an LCD screen on the inside of the housing. The V5 LCD has a glass front panel just like the normal V5, but next to the motherboard there is a 7" screen on which users can display information and 'own visual displays'. For this they need the Nexlinq software, which is only available for Windows.

X30 fans

Phanteks will also be showing the X30 Frame fans at the show, which the company says will be released this year. This was initially supposed to happen last year, but it was delayed because it proved difficult to make the RGB lighting smooth. Black and white variants will be available in 120mm, 240mm and 360mm variants. In addition, 'reversible' fans will be available.
