According to information from IT House 3 June, according to Jaykihn's latest explosion, Intel has removed the low-end 6 nuclear (IT House Note: 2P+0E+4LPE configuration) Nova Lake mobile processor.
It is alleged that the target market for the chip coincides fully with Wildcat Lake Refresh. According to Bionic Squash, Intel considers Wildcat Lake Refresh to be more competitive in this sub-market, while Wildcat Lake has more than expected market demand.
In terms of positioning, 6 nuclear Nova Lake was originally the prime model of the Nova Lake family. But Intel has prepared Wildcat Lake, a successor to Twin Lake, for low-end laptops, mini PCs and edge computing devices.
The current Wildcat Lake also has a maximum of 6 nuclear configuration. If Nova Lake pushes a further 6 nuclear products, the two products will compete directly in the entry market. Taking into account that Wildcat Lake has opted to give up entry level Nova Lake by streamlining unnecessary I/O control costs, this is a more reasonable arrangement.
