From July 1, KPN will apply an inflation correction to internet, TV and fixed telephony subscriptions taken out before April 1, 2026. As a result, customers will pay 3.3 percent more per month.
The price increase of 3.3 percent is in line with the inflation rate of the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics, KPN reports. The price increase only applies to internet and TV subscriptions and to traffic rates for fixed calling. Customers will no longer pay for extras such as ESPN Complete and the Recording package.
At the beginning of June, KPN also increased the price of its mobile subscriptions by 1 euro per month. Customers received the Extra Safe Mobile package 'free' for this. This change allowed customers to cancel their subscription free of charge. This is not the case with the inflation adjustment, because it is part of KPN's general terms and conditions.
