Launch Panther Lake, Wildcat Lake core MoDT masterboard to introduce mobile processors to desktop platforms

Authors

According to information from IT House on 4 June, Wccftech today, at the 2026 Taipei International Computer Fair, it was shown that its “Mobile on Desktop” master board, based on Intel Panther Lake and Wildcat Lake processor, was the first to introduce the two mobile platforms SoC into the standard desktop specification master board.

Of these, SK-PTLNAS appears to be named as an ATX master board designed for NAS, which uses a white PCB to carry the Panther Lake series processor, with a maximum selection of Ultra X9,388H.

However, the prototypes displayed at the site are used by the cool Ultra 7,356H, with an 8-nucle 8 thread, and integrate 4 Xe3 structures iGPU Core.CPU The power consumption is maintained at 65W, with a single 8pin interface for power supply. The board is designed to provide a 6+4 phase power supply to provide two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots with maximum support for 128GB memory.

In terms of extension, the main panel is equipped with a PCIe 5.0 x 16 full slot and five M.2 SSD slots (2 Gen5 x 2, 2 Gen4 x 1, 1 Gen4 x 2) and a top M.2 slot for the Wi-Fi module with three Mini SAS interfaces for additional storage extensions.

The back I/O provides two USB-C 40Gbps interfaces, two USB 3.2 Gen2 and two USB 2.0 interfaces through the Zoom controller; the panel load consists of two USB 3.2 Gen1, three USB 2.0 and one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C interface. The network component is equipped with 10 GbE and 2.5 GbE double access. The main plate also contains a DEBUG light and a board button to clear CMBOS.

Another new item is the MoDT masterboard based on Wildcat Lake, which uses a mATX panel to locate the entry level.

The main panel has only one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot with maximum support for 32GB memory. CPU uses a 4+2 phase power supply through the 12V DC interface, with up to 28W TDP.

For storage, the main panel provides a Gen4 x 4 M.2 slot and an SATA III interface; for I/O, two USB 3.2 Gen1 and two USB 2.0 interfaces, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and three USB 2.0 interfaces.

In addition to the MoDT main panel, the inscriptions display two new professional cards based on Intel Arc Pro B65, a Turbo version carrying the heat of a turbine fan and a silent version of the total passive heat.

Both graphic cards are designed for single slots and equipped with a single 16 needle (12V-2x6) power interface, TDP 200W. Neither the sale price nor the specific time of listing of the above-mentioned products are currently disclosed.
