Leaker Ice Universe has posted a photo of the alleged design of the foldable iPhone online. The photo shows the design of the phone in white. It is probably not a working device, but a dummy.
The device in the photo shared by Ice Universe has two cameras. The phone also appears to have a small, square screen and a larger screen on the back. The smartphone therefore appears to use two screens, as was already apparent from previous renders.
The foldable iPhone, which may be called Fold or Ultra, seems to be available in white based on the photos. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman previously wrote that Apple plans to "avoid cheerful colors." According to him, Apple would also announce a dark gray or black variant. Apple will probably announce the device in September.
iPhone Fold?
There have been rumors about a foldable iPhone for years. Folding smartphones have been on the market since 2019, but Apple has not presented or released a single phone with a foldable screen so far. According to the latest and most reliable rumors, it is a squarer model than current foldable smartphones such as the Galaxy Z Fold phones. There is a fairly square screen at the front with a diagonal of around 5.5" and inside a rectangular, landscape screen with a diagonal of around 7.8". Instead of Face ID, the foldable iPhone would have a fingerprint scanner, something Apple calls Touch ID. This is in line with other foldable smartphones, many of which also have a fingerprint scanner in a button on the side. The phone would cost between 2000 and 2500 dollars and that does not differ greatly from the competition. Many other foldable smartphones cost around 2000 euros.
