Mark Zuckerberg says Meta is developing AI agents for personal and business use.

Meta's superintelligence team is developing a new set of AI agents that will help the company's users "achieve a variety of goals in life," according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg, who is also said to be overseeing his own AI clone, said his goal is to make the agent more accessible and easier to use than existing agent products like OpenClaw.

During Meta's first quarter earnings call Wednesday, Zuckerberg said the upcoming business and personal agents will be built on the newly launched Muse Spark model, the first model from Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL).

“Our goal is not simply to provide Meta AI as an assistant, but to provide an agent who understands your goals and can work day and night to help you achieve them,” he said. "We're building personal agents focused on helping people achieve a variety of goals in their lives. We're also building business agents focused on helping entrepreneurs and businesses around the world use our tools and others to increase their efforts, reach new customers, and better serve existing customers."

Zuckerberg did not give a timeline for launching the new product, but said Meta's goal is to make it more accessible to agents than current platforms. He said OpenClaw provides "a very interesting glimpse into what types of things should be possible" but is "very rough" to set up.

“There are a lot of agents that people are making for a variety of purposes, but not a lot of agents that people want to give to their mothers,” he said. “How do you create a version of the experience that’s much more polished, simpler, and basically has all the infrastructure already done for people?”
