According to information from IT House 6 June, Bloomberg today reported that Elon Mask would attend a closed-door technical meeting organized by Asmeh (ASML) in virtual form to discuss his TerraFab project, which Asmack saw as a “serious attempt”.
The spokesperson for Asmack stated that Mask would share his vision of artificial intelligence, robotics, space and semiconductor manufacturing in activities aimed at Asmack employees.
The TeraFab project, in which the Mask team formally joined the global semiconductor industry ecology, will involve several enterprises, such as Asmeh.
As previously reported by the IT House, the Chief Executive Officer of Asmeh (ASML), Christopher Fucai, revealed last month that he had been in direct contact with Elon Mask regarding the TerraFab Semiconductor Project. In an interview with Reuters, he said that Mask was very serious about building one of the largest chip manufacturing bases ever.
The CEO and CEO Wei Cheol said this week that Mask's plan to build a large, cutting-edge chip factory from scratch would take a long time before it actually landed." I can only say "good luck" to TerraFab of Mask. It will take a long time to achieve this.”

TerraFab Project SpaceXA joint venture between Tesla and Intel is planned to build a series of giant semiconductor plants, with an initial investment of $20 billion, and to settle in the state of Río de Quesas, with a combined production of logical chips, storage chips and advanced sealing operations.
SpaceX has also submitted an application to the relevant department for the construction of a $55 billion semiconductor plant in Gramms County, Texas, at a cost of up to $119 billion.
Mask advanced the TerraFab project, which stemmed from its prediction of future chip requirements for Tesla. In November 2025, he stated that Tesla would need 100 to 200 billion of the number of AI chips per year, and that the expansion of the generation of power and Samsung plants was “too slow” to meet the demand.
Asmack is the only company in the world capable of producing ultraviolet (EUV) optical carving machines, and its equipment is the essential core for the production of the most sophisticated and sophisticated chips. In May 2026, Asmai CEO Fucai revealed that he had communicated directly with Mask regarding the TerraFab project and found that Mask was very serious about it.
Fooke also warns that the surge in artificial intelligence demand will continue to place the global semiconductor industry in a situation of capacity shortages for a long time to come, and that large-scale projects like TerraFab will continue to squeeze the supply of semiconductor equipment.
