According to information from IT House on 3 June, Momenta announced yesterday that she had obtained a licence to test and demonstrate the use of the Smart Net road in Nosei City, Jiangsu province, and that it had started testing locally in January this year.
According to Momenta, the company plans to drive automatically at high levels in a number of new cities and regions around the world in 2026, with a focus on technology mapping and the exploration of civilian travel services.
The IT House was officially informed that Momenta had previously operated Robotaxi in cities such as Shanghai and Suzhou in the country, and overseas covered Munich, Germany, Abu Dhabi, and was actively expanding markets in other parts of Europe, Singapore and Japan.
At the technical level, Momenta officially launched the R7 Enhanced Learning World Model in the first half of this year and has been applied to the L4-level auto-driving practice. The model emphasizes the cognitive ability of the physical world to understand the physical properties, motor causality and potential for interaction of objects, thus achieving more accurate predictions and planning, and enhancing the ability of vehicles to travel in game, course and narrow space.
In the area of internationalization and ecological cooperation, Momenta has established a strategic collaboration with the global front-runners, such as Uber, Grab, Lumo, entourage and car manufacturers, such as Mercedes-Benz, to promote the scale of auto-driving services.
The data show that Momenta ' s capacity-based driving programme carried more than 800,000 vehicles over the past year, delivered more than 70 units of the production model, over 200 units of the cumulative fixed-point vehicle model and over a dozen countries and territories.
