On Monday, WWDC, apples seem to be about to introduce us a new Siri. Again. By the way, we met with a new Siri when Apple Intelligence was launched in 2024. Siri has a new luminous frame, different voice options, and a new one. ChatGPT to send questions. Apple promises, Siri, the entire "smart" part of the redesign is about to be launched. That is not the case. In fact, its propaganda around Apple Intelligence was so misleading that the company was resolving a class action and had to pay to the iPhone user for the functions it had never provided. Interestingly, Apple could be in a good position because of such a serious mistake.

Let us be clear: apples lose badly if there is an ASA competition. Gemini. Already doing something like ordering Uber and Door Dashing teriyaki. It can check your calendar and determine when you should go to the airport. Gemini won the game, fair and just.

But there is also growing mistrust of artificial intelligence, especially among young people, and the more the Geminis, the more creepy. It's just Siri can't really do it yet. When we meet this new Gemini-enhanced Siri, look where and how it works. According to Bloomberg, it does sound like we'll see it in a lot of places: dynamic islands, photos, and probably even for the first time in its own dedicated Siri application. It's a very different timer setup than we currently know, Siri, and it's mostly hidden behind the scenes.

I wonder if apples also highlight things that they already like to stress: privacy. You can bet we'll hear more about private cloud computing, which is said to guarantee your data security, just as it never left your device. An updated Siri may also provide options for automatically deleting chat records after a certain period of time, rather than defaulting on the retention of the data. A commitment to provide more private and safer artificial intelligence experiences may attract those who are reluctant to provide Google with more personal information. But for those who are tired of facing artificial intelligence in every software all day long, it doesn't work much.

Advantages, especially those you happen to find, may disappear as quickly as possible.

Apples can easily be seen as more responsible for their slow introduction of artificial intelligence. Google executives used to talk about “bold and responsible” artificial intelligence, but recently they were too busy putting out new Gemini functions and immersing in strange mountains to pay attention to this. It is not a bad choice to take time to get things right, but the era of error has ended. This time Siri must really succeed. When the second such opportunity comes, you can't expect it to come back.
