Nintendo has expanded the availability of Nintendo Music. The music streaming service can now also be used on computers, tablets and in cars with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Nintendo Music can be used via the web browser on desktops and laptops, Nintendo announced. The Nintendo Music app is also available on tablets. Apple tablets must run at least iPadOS 16. Android tablets must have at least version 9 and 2GB of RAM. Nintendo notes that the app may not work properly even on devices that meet these requirements. This depends on the computing power of the tablet used and whether other apps are running.

The app is also available for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Users can select tracks via the car's touchscreen or via voice control.

Nintendo Music was released in 2024 and lets users listen to music from Nintendo's games, including well-known series such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario and Pikmin. A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to use the service. This costs 19.99 euros per year.
