When Nintendo Music was first announced, I felt that it was a money-making aimed at signing up for the Nintendo Switch Online subscription. However, after the recent update, some new features were added to the app, making it a more fulfilling service.
One of the biggest changes is that Nintendo Music is now available in a web browser. This feature includes the ability to use voice controls to search for songs and generate playlists on the app based on a specific atmosphere that changes depending on the current environment (such as rainy days).
Other small yet convenient improvements include the “My Mix” feature that creates a new playlist based on the track history, in addition to the support of creating playlists and sharing with other users. Finally, if you want to know which tracks are available in Nintendo Music, you can now browse the app library even if you don’t have a valid NSO account. In addition, Nintendo will continue to add content even if certain songs you are looking for are currently not present.
