Notifications on testing arrangements for undergraduate level of Mandarin and clearance downloads for 2026

The free test in Mandarin level was for undergraduate students in 2023 and the enrolment was completed in November 2025.

The test was conducted in four separate schools:

1. Four Heath Road School District: 21 March, 22 March, in the teaching practice room of the Heath Road School District

KAZ: 28 March, 29 March, in the vicinity of KAZ

11 March 2026 08:00-2026 29 March 1700

1. Access to the teaching management information system of the University of Toji (web site: 1.tongji.edu.cn)

Entry: competitions and examinations - registration for the Lyric Level Examination

3. Self-downloading and printing of the examination. (See below chart operating steps)

1. Candidates are required to take the examination strictly in accordance with the examination district, date and time indicated on the examination certificate. They are required to carry the original certificate and identity card and Hong Kong/Australian students are required to carry the original certificate and passport (or pass).

2. Photographs will be collected at the examination site, which will be used as a test certificate for the level of Mandarin, and candidates will be invited to prepare their clothing and appearance in advance.

3. The results of the lingua franca level test are not linked to graduation eligibility. Students who have missed this free test are free to apply at their own expense.

Examination candidates who encounter problems in printing and downloading their certificates can consult the undergraduate examination centre.
