With the 5G+ Travel Package, Orange is aimed at people who are often on the road, or more generally on trains or planes. If the 250 GB envelope offered is interesting and allows you not to have to worry when watching a video or other, you should instead look at the 40 GB envelope for travel. Especially the destinations where it can be used because it goes further than Europe and the French Overseas Territories.
The attractions of the 250 GB 5G+ Travel Package
- The 40 GB envelope in 78 destinations outside Europe
- Dedicated 5G+ bandwidth, for saturated areas
- Orange offers an eSIM Watch on request
The 250 GB 5G+ Travel Plan is non-binding and costs 24.99 euros per month for the first year, then increases to 33.99 euros per month. If you are already an Orange Internet customer, it is 19.99 euros per month then increases to 28.99 euros/month after 12 months.

A mobile plan for traveling without sweating
The undeniable advantage of this mobile plan is that it offers enough mobile data in France and abroad so that you do not have to fear going outside the plan. Here, you have 250 GB usable in classic zones, namely Europe and the French Overseas Territories. But the most interesting thing is the 40 GB to be used outside Europe, in 78 destinations including the United States, Canada, Japan, China, Morocco, Turkey, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, to name a few.
In addition to that, if you have a compatible smartphone, the plan offers a 5G+ connection. You also have to be in a covered area, of course. Orange presents this as an evolution of 5G with lower latency and enhanced security. In theory, this would allow reaching up to 1.5 Gbit/s in reception and 200 Mbit/s in transmission.
Orange sets up dedicated bandwidth
For its 5G+, Orange offers dedicated bandwidth to which you have access in the package. Be careful though, Orange makes it clear that it is activated when there are too many people on the classic bandwidth, to avoid congestion. But once again, you have to be in a 5G+ zone and that is no insurance against any drop in performance.
Another pretty cool option with this plan is the eSIM Watch available on request. If you have a smartwatch that can use an eSIM, you can use it without having your smartphone nearby thanks to this. Apart from that, it's a package that couldn't be more classic with unlimited calls, SMS and MMS to and from France, including the overseas territories.
When you change operator, you can decide to keep your current telephone number. To do this, you must call 3179 free of charge and obtain your RIO number. You must then postpone it when registering with your new operator, which allows you to not only take care of portability, but also cancel with your old operator.
