Play on a prepaid card disables GB limits for half a year. And this is a specific offer

This can be seen in the example of Play, which refreshed its prepaid offer with the upcoming holidays in mind. The new promotion of the purple network allows you to purchase an attractive XXL Package, and the price is not its only strong point. How much will we pay for it and what exactly do we get at this price and for how long? Let's check and calculate whether it is worth it.

The XXL package in Play prepaid can be activated after topping up the account for a minimum amount of PLN 50. We activate it for two months, i.e. just for the holidays, but the first month is free of charge, and from the second month we will have to pay PLN 50. This means that we pay on average only PLN 25/month to start, which is a really attractive price if we look at what exactly it offers.

As part of this offer, we get 200 GB of transfer to use per month, including 17.18 GB to use thanks to the roam like at home principle in the European Union. There are no limits when it comes to making calls and sending SMS and MMS messages. From the third month, we will pay PLN 50/month. so we actually get one month for free here.

The good news is that if we renew the new XXL Package cyclically in Play pre-paid, first joining the "GB without limits for half a year" promotion, we will get unlimited internet for 6 months. Then we will receive additional 600 GB packages every 30 days, and this should be more than enough for most people.

Prepaid starters in Play - new prices for 2026

On June 1, 2026, new starters were added to the Play offer, which can be purchased in Play stores and other sales points. In addition, for PLN 50 with the XXL package, there are also variants with packages of 40 GB (including 12.03 GB in the EU) for PLN 35 per month (with the option of receiving an additional 2,480 GB for a year) and 30 GB (including 10.31 GB in the EU) for PLN 30 per month.
