PlayStation Plus series launched in May: Nine Sols, EAFC 26, Wuchange

May's PlayStation Plus lineup includes Nine Sols, EA FC 26, and Wuchang.

This coming May, three great games in three different genres are coming to PlayStation Plus. Nine Sols is a 2D action platformer, EA Sports FC 26 is a soccer simulator, and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a soulful RPG. All of these titles will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on May 5th.

Nine Sols is a stunning, award-winning side-scroller from Taiwanese indie studio RedCandleGames that blends Eastern fantasy and cyberpunk sensibilities, featuring Sekiro-inspired combat. You may remember RedCandleGames from its 2019 Chinese censorship campaign targeting the studio's title Devotion. Nine Sols was released in May 2024 and has garnered several accolades from Gamescom, Bitsummit, SXSW, and other organizations along the way. Nine Souls is scheduled to be released to PS4 and PS5 subscribers in May this year.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a soulful action RPG that has received positive reviews since its release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in July 2025. It stars Wuchang, a female pirate warrior who awakens with amnesia in a world of monstrous creatures and mysterious spreading diseases. A dark fantasy story set during the Ming Dynasty, developed by Chinese studio Leenzee and published by 505 Games. Wuchang will be available to PS5 subscribers.

EA Sports FC 26 is the latest version of the soccer series formerly known as FIFA, featuring a completely revamped UI and mechanics, new live challenges, and over 20,000 players to choose from over 750 clubs and national teams. The May PlayStation Plus drop includes the PlayStation Plus Icon Pack. EA FC 26 is available to PS4 and PS5 subscribers.

April's PS Plus monthly free content (Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream) will be available for members to download until May 4th.
