The porn company was fined £600,000 for failure in age checks.
Ofcom imposed a fine of Pound600,000 on a sex company for failing to introduce appropriate age certification measures on its website.
Media regulators indicated that Youngtek Solutions Ltd, which operated four adult websites, did not conduct age checks to ensure that British visitors reached the age of 18 and to prevent children from accessing content.
Ofcom states that it has since carried out the certification but did not comply with its rules between July and September 2025.
The company was fined Pound500,000 for lack of age check and Pound100,000 for failure to respond to Ofcom's initial request for information.
Since July 2025, under the British Online Security Act (OSA), “efficient” age checks are required on platforms operating in the UK that permit pornographic content to ensure that children do not have access to age-limited or harmful content.
Under OSA, the regulator may impose a fine of up to Pound18 million or 10 per cent of its turnover (whichever is higher). In the most serious cases, it could also apply to the court to order the blocking of British websites.
Ofcom Law Enforcement Director George Lusty said: “The adult website must use rigorous age checks to protect British children from online pornography, and we have shown that we will make full use of our enforcement powers to ensure this result.
“Any company that fails to comply with the rules, or that fails to meet important deadlines when we request information, may incur costs.”
Since the introduction of the new law, Ofcom has imposed large fines on several adult websites because they do not apply strict age checks.
These include:
Ofcom states that AVS Group and Kick Online Enterprise SA have since launched age checks on some of their websites. It did not disclose any information on whether the groups had paid the fines.
According to Ofcom, two thirds of Britain ' s top 100 sex services had deployed age checks as of April.
