Portable e-paper screen from ASUS will be released at the end of this year

ASUS is showing a portable epaper screen for your laptop at Computex, which should be released at the end of this year. The 13.3" color screen has a resolution of 3200x2400 pixels and comes with a tripod to place it.
The ZenScreen MP13UC, as the monitor is called, has a pixel density of 300 pixels per inch thanks to its relatively high resolution. It is a touch screen that supports display of 4096 colors. The screen has a refresh rate of 35Hz. When scrolling, there is considerable ghosting, as on other e-ink color screens. There is therefore a button on the short side of the screen that refreshes the image.
The MP13UC is equipped with a front light with adjustable color temperature. The LEDs are located on both long sides of the panel. The monitor comes with a tripod to place it next to your laptop, as shown, the ZenScreen Stand ATS01D. It supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel and rotation.
ASUS says it plans to release the MP13UC monitor in the fourth quarter. A price is not yet known.
