Remarkable's Refurbished Paper Pro Bundle is Hundreds of Dollars Off

Color E Ink tablets are generally not affordable. I'm not going to say that Woot's price on a "like new" refurbished Remarkable Paper Pro is cheap, but it is pretty fantastic compared to buying new. Normally $629 just for the tablet, you can get a bundle including the large 11.8-inch Paper Pro plus $139 worth of brand-new accessories (a Mosaic Weave Book Folio and a Marker Plus) for $509 if you buy it used. The bundle comes with a 90-day warranty, which pales in comparison to Remarkable's one-year warranty on refurbished devices. Again, the same refurbished package on the company's site costs $649.

It's nice to have color E ink so close to the price of Remarkable's new Paper Pure, a 10.3-inch black and white E Ink tablet for note-taking. Although many of their features overlap, you may prefer not only the Paper Pro's color capabilities but also its front lighting. The Paper Pure has no light at all. One thing to keep in mind about the Pro's color screen is that it uses Gallery display technology, which has a slow refresh rate because it renders colors instead of using filters like Kaleido screens.

More Deals to Consider

- If you're looking for a sleek 33-inch soundbar with wired satellite speakers and a wireless subwoofer that won't cost you much, Vizio's 5.1 SE system costs $149.99 at Walmart (was $228). The soundbar can easily be mounted to the bottom of most newer Vizio TVs without additional accessories, but its low-profile design won't look out of place even if you need to install it on top of your entertainment center. It supports Bluetooth and eARC over HDMI, so you won't have to turn it on every time you turn on the TV. The company says the system can deliver Dolby Atmos and DTS

- Humble has rolled out its new batch of games for Choice subscribers. Those who subscribe for $14.99 per month can get Octopath Traveler 2, Citizen Sleeper 2, Indika, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, and more, all of which you keep even if you choose to cancel. Choice members get a new mix of free games like these every month, plus discounts on purchases from the Humble store. This includes redeemable games on Steam, as well as digital Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 titles. In many cases, the discount brings Nintendo games back to the best prices available on the web.

- Since we're talking video games, Bungie's first-person pull-shooter Marathon just launched its second season of content. A free trial is running until June 9 and lets you play everything the game has to offer. If you like what you see, there are plenty of deals on offer across all platforms the game is available on. The most affordable deal is at Fanatical, where you can get the Steam title for $25.59 (originally $39.99) without needing an offer code. The digital download on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X costs $27.99.
