According to several messages posted on a forum which relay the presence of a new reference in the Sony television catalog, it seems that the Japanese brand is working on a Bravia 6 series identified under the code A60.
TVs from 48 to 83 inches
In fact, this reference is listed in a table showing the compatibility of a wall mount. If we can find existing models like the Bravia 3 II, this document also mentions other references, in this case the Bravia 6 with among them the K-83A60, K-77A60, K-65A60, K-55A60 and K-48A60.
These are currently not listed in the Sony catalog. The K prefixes refer to OLED models. We can therefore easily conjecture that this new series will be made up of several models of different sizes: 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches.

What are the best Oled TVs in 2026?
In the middle of last year, Sony offered the Bravia 8 II TVs on the market. Added to the A95L series which remains relevant despite its many months on the shelves, this Bravia 6 series would therefore be positioned below the Bravia 6. The idea would be to offer a less expensive alternative. Remember that Sony has just announced the availability of the Bravia 7 II and Bravia 9 II LCD TVs featuring a panel with RGB Mini LED backlighting (called True RGB).

Sony will expand its ranges to better face the competition
Faced with competitors, a well-positioned Bravia 6 could be compared to the LG B or C series, or even to certain OLED models from Samsung, which combine varied diagonals, advanced gaming features and lower prices than their highest references.
Sony would thus seek to respond to a public wishing to benefit from the almost infinite contrast of OLED, without systematically targeting the lowest prices, nor the most expensive models. We have notably seen Sony offer a very aggressive pricing policy. For example, the 65-inch Bravia 9 II TV is 700 euros cheaper than its equivalent from Samsung, the 65R95H, both models being LCD and equipped with RGB Mini LED backlighting, even if one calls it True RGB and the other Micro RGB.
What technical characteristics?
The table does not mention any technical characteristics other than that the Bravia 6 TVs will be compatible with the wall mount. However, according to a leak relayed on X by a specialized account, the Bravia 6 series would use the new MediaTek 800 chipset, to be confirmed, like the Bravia 3 II. This processor would be at the heart of managing 4K 120 Hz, video game-related functions and the general fluidity of the interface.

Rumors also mention the presence of four HDMI 2.1 inputs, a feature that would place these models at the level of gaming-oriented competitors, while some older Sony televisions limited fully compatible ports. Remember that the brand's most recent TVs, the Bravia 7 II and Bravia 9 II, only offer two HDMI 2.1 inputs.
In view of this information, which remains to be confirmed, it is therefore possible that Sony will offer us this new series by the end of the year which promises to be interesting for lovers of image quality.
