The trailer also gave a preview of the game's story, starring Dylan Faden, who was imprisoned for most of the first game. Remedy's Mikael Kasurinen says in a blog post that he will be "the only playable character," but his sister Jesse, who was the protagonist of Control, will also "shape the path" in Resonant.

"In Resonant, we learn more about the Fadens' complex past. Their lives have never been easy, and the cost of what they carry looms," Kasurinen wrote. “What lies ahead will take us further than we have ever gone before.”

The game is available for pre-order starting today. Pre-ordering the game's Digital Deluxe Edition will give you 48-hour early access to gameplay and other benefits, including a digital artbook and game soundtrack.
