The Great March, the Kuda Conference: From "The Fire of the Stars" to "The Torch of the Revival."

Visitors visited the Okuda Conference site in the town of Okuda, Fujian Rock, on 29 August 2024.

In the early summer, the town of Hangkota, the mountains are green and the creeks are wet.

The pilot secondary school studies activities at Beijing Teacher Training University are open at the Kota Conference site, where research teams view the conference. On the mountain behind the site, the eight big red words, “The Kuta Conference will always shine”, were solemnly missed.

Into the hall of the site, which used to be the triad of Liao Zongliang, traces of a carbon fire still appear. On the winter of 97 years ago, participants sat around and raised a coal-fired pot in order to resist the cold.

This cold-free coal fire is the spark that lighted the Chinese revolution and the triumphant wage fire that lighted the road to the establishment of a strong military party.

At that time, the Communist Party of China was born less than 10 years ago, and the army was founded just two years ago. The construction of proletarian political parties and the creation of a new kind of people's army are issues that need to be solved before the Chinese Communist Party.

From 28 to 29 December 1929, more than 120 representatives of the Red 4 Army and local cadres gathered here to convene the Ninth Congress of the Fourth Red Army of the Communist Party of China, the Kuda Conference of Bing-chun.

The meeting unanimously adopted the " General Assembly Resolution of the Ninth Representative of the Fourth Red Army of the Communist Party of China " , which was drafted under the chairmanship of Comrade Mao. The resolution, which is more than 30,000 words, makes it clear that “the Chinese Red Army is an armed group with a political mandate to carry out the revolution”, completely clarifies the fundamental question of “who serves, carries guns and fights for whom”.

At the Okuda Conference Memorial Museum, a separate copy of the Goda Conference resolution was printed by Xinhua in 1942. The Head of the Memorial Museum of the Kuda Conference said, “Return this one-way book, which has been sank over many years, and which contains the essence of the idea, highlighting the depth and strength of the ideological and political forces.”

With more than 90 years of wind and time, the resolutions of the Kuda Conference, like a torch of thought, have passed through the years of the war, and have led our party to advance and grow, leading the people's army from small to large and from weak to strong.

In 2014, General Secretary Xi hosted an army-wide political working meeting in Kota, in which he stressed that: “Standing that party's absolute leadership of the army is the spirit of a strong army and that the creation of a strong military spirit is at the heart of the military's political work and cannot be wavered at any time.”

“Kuda is the place where our party establishes the principles of ideological and political construction of the army, where the foundation of the political work of my army is laid and where the new people's army is shaped.” General Secretary Xi has revealed the significance of the Goda Conference as a milestone in the history of party and people's army development.

In January 1930, Comrade Mao Zedong wrote "The Fire of the Stars" in the old town of Yasumi Village in Okuda, science predicted that the climax of the Chinese revolution would come to pass.

“It is a ship that has already seen the tip of the mast, standing at the height of a mountain, and that has seen the light in the east, and it is an infant that is about to mature in a temperament to the womb.”

In October 2014, General Secretary Xi said in depth at the military-wide political working session:

“We have come here in order to look back, to reflect on where we started and why we started, to revisit the glorious history of our army, to remember the great achievements of the ancient revolutionaries, and to baptize our minds for better progress.”

Over the course of almost a century, the flames of the stars of the revolutionary era have become the torches of the era that lighted the great march of national renaissance.

Outside the premises of the Koda Conference, the students and teachers of the pilot secondary school of the Beijing Teacher Training University were lined up to read the decision of the Koda Conference: “The Red Army is not simply a war, but it is also responsible for the great tasks of propagating the masses, organizing the masses, arming them, helping them to establish a revolutionary regime so that they can form a communist organization...”

The spirit of the Kuda conference, the passage of time and space, the light of the way forward and the light of the way forward.
