A planned 2-billion dollar billing centre has become a political hub in Shelbyville, Indiana. And the controversy has become even more acute after the Mayor Scott Furgeson was filmed in front of the camera, as he said to the “No Data Center” signs: “I have seen many of them everywhere in the city, but I only see them in fucking houses” before he added: “Most of them are rental objects.”

Populations of the city say Scott Furgeson was disrespectful.
The woman who speaks with him in the clip quickly and says that they belong to the “working class”, and someone interferes and adds something that should not be told to a mayor about his constituents: “It doesn’t matter whether they are tenants, they are still people.”
The inhabitants of Shelbyville are understandably amazed by Furgesons' repulsive language to his constituents. Alexas Williams called the words of the mayor “respectlessly” and “injuriously” when he spoke to the local NBC partner WTHR.
The mayor refused a further opinion, although a spokesman of the mayor's office published a statement saying, "The mayor regrets that his choice of words may have caused a stir."
