On 3 local time, Hungarian Prime Minister Maojor stated in social media that his Government did not support the acceleration of the negotiation process for Ukraine ' s accession to the European Union. According to Maurier, Hungary and Ukraine have reached a key agreement on the language, education and culture of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine, which is expected to pave the way for the approval of the first chapter of the EU accession negotiations. Maurier stated that Hungary still did not support the acceleration of the negotiation process for Ukraine ' s accession to the European Union and said that if Ukraine could complete all 33 chapters of the accession negotiations within the next 10 to 15 years, Hungary would hold a legally binding referendum on Ukraine ' s accession to the European Union.
