✷ Album concept and creativity

"U:NFOLD" means "open" and "open" double. Unlike the result-oriented narrative, the album focuses more on the process itself: "The pieces that have not yet been completed and are still changing."

In its first album, Lost in the Future, U:NUS, in U:NFOLD, turns the story around "lost" and "exploration" into a more open and ongoing state of affairs; it does not insist on reaching a particular result, but rather on a change that "is happening."

The time scale of "1/4" comes from the life of its members. As the group enters an average of 25 years of age, the album also becomes a specific time cut – four people walk a quarter of their lives and have begun to move into the next phase before it becomes fully operational.

"25 years old, neither the beginning nor the end. This state of affairs has also been transformed into an important symbol of visual and conceptual language. From the initial thought of the clock and the compass, the idea of the gyro, which is more dynamic and reminiscent, continues to spin, has not stopped, and suggests that direction and stability are still taking shape.

A whole-of-the-horizon visual and video creativity blends cartoon graffiti, hand-drawing pens and memes with cultural elements, showing the unique style that U: NUS has been building in recent years: it is not limited to existing iconic frameworks, and it is written and expressed in a freer, intuitive and timid way.

Musical style and profile

In the context of music, U:NFOLD continues to participate in the creation of U: NUS and to show a more open and fluid voice. The group looked back at the music nutrients that were touched during the teenage years, about 10 years ago, during the long journey. The melody and styles that come from youth and listen back and forth -- and turn them into the creative energy of the moment. This retroactivity is not a simple retrograde retrofit, but a reinterpretation of "how music leaves a mark in time and memory": how the old self is re-opened now and has a new face.

Since the beginning of 2026, the "Macky GO" was inspired by the culture of electronic dances and hip-hop parties in the 2000s, extending the direct mass energy; the "IDGAF" shifted the mood from the inside to the outside, responding to the pressures and constraints of modern life with a more visible rhythm and attitude; and "You don't go back to your emotions" , reminiscent of the intuitive state of love and attachment.

The different works extend in style, but together point to the same core: the process of cutting back and forth between situations, preserving the current intuitiveness and movement of the creation of the work, through the combination of multiple curvatures and transpositions, making each piece part of the time horizon.

The whole voice language travels over and over again between the past and the present — both in the memory of the music of the 2000s and in the right form. Between familiarity and change, the voice contours of the U:NUS phase are gradually shaped: it is not yet fully defined, but it is beginning to take shape.

This album also marks the further deepening of U.N.US at the creation level. In addition to full participation in the writing of lyrics, members have become more involved in music production and composer processes, moving from "authors" to "masters of sound" and creating more visible music language. The role of producer Boii P is also crucial in this work. From the time the group was created together, to the time it was developing a common voice, the trust and understanding of the two sides in its creation has kept U:NFOLD at the core of the changing paradigm.

♪ Make teams and cross-border cooperation ♪

U:NFOLD and the visual team, which have limited access to INTENTION, have developed a deep integration, cross-section of albums, video styles and the whole visual system. The team has been active in music and video creation for a long time, in collaboration with mainstream record companies and independent music companies, and in recent years has continued to expand the experience of cross-country music video production and visual collaboration, and has gradually developed new generation-wide visual language with a sense of awareness and a young style.

A group of people traveled further to Thailand to work with local creative teams and photographers for album packages and video shoots. In the context of the selection of scenes, the light atmosphere and the lingua franca, a whole new visual landscape is created that is different from previous works.

Through the creation of a cross-regional and cross-cultural environment, the core of the "open" and "change" features of this work have been further amplified, and a more nuanced atmosphere has been injected into the work as a whole.

This is a time of collaboration between the partners and the new young authors, who have been working together for a long time, and who have injected new creative energy on the basis of a high degree of common understanding, so that the whole work can be balanced between stability and change, and so that it responds to the state represented by U:NFOLD, which is still happening.

Album design and visual language

In the area of visual design, U:NFOLD continues the whole concept of "motive transition" and develops highly consistent visual language. With the gyro-shaped time machine as its main body, the revolving structure is a remixed image, a sign of the pointer and the direction of the time, and in a continuous process, leading the view back to the childhood memory of the early 2000s — both back and back.

The cover further extends the concept of interactivity of electronic pets, where the role can be replaced by a cartoon image of its members, creating visual language that is different from the traditional male community through a sense of humor, a slightly funny deformed character, and an American cartoon style with a strong memory.

The designer, CHIA-HSIEN LEE, is invited to work on the design of the CHIA-HSIE, which has focused for a long time on the creative integration of music and art, has been involved in the design of the thirty-sixth edition of the Golden Music Prize, the standard visual word and the art of the show, and in the visual production of several major events.

The whole design responds not only to the core state of the album, "Unfinished and Continuous" but also to the fact that the game sense and memory symbol is transformed to show U: NUS is the most real, open-ended look at this stage.
