According to information from IT House on 5 June, it was reported that two 306,000 heavy-ton super-large tankers, built by our own design, had been delivered in Liaoning Dalian by name and that two giant ships had been delivered on the same day to create a new record in the shipbuilding industry worldwide.
The two super-large tankers were of the same type and were designed and developed on an autonomous basis by a heliwork heavy labour force, with a total length of 332.8 metres, a width of 60 metres and a depth of 30 metres and a speed of 14.5 knots, with characteristics such as speed, low fuel consumption and large loads.
The new ships are named the Evros (EVROS) and Achelos (Achelos), respectively. They are naturalized under the British Law classification, and in the east are the Greek shipping giant Dynacom.
IT House Note: Dynacom is the first overseas shipowners and key partners of the constant heavy work, with over 40 single bulk carriers and tankers currently under the constant heavy work, of which 17 have been delivered of high quality.
According to the above-mentioned presentation, the type of ship has performed well in terms of its environmental performance, using a new generation of desulphurization, denitration and state-of-the-art energy-saving devices, nitrogen oxide emissions meeting the highest International Maritime Organization (IMO) stage, carbon dioxide emissions meeting the requirements of phase III of the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI), and performance and environmental protection indicators reaching industry lead levels.
In addition, the ship built its cabins and living areas at five-star hotel standards, with the advantages of safety, greenness, comfort and environmental protection. It was described that the two ships were to be delivered at least three months in advance of the contract date, from the same dock to the same day when they were to be named. At present, more than 150 ships are being built by a constant heavy labour force, of which 30 are being assembled at the same time, with handheld orders scheduled for 2030.
