- Proxy Session View:

- Sorting and filtering controls are added to the working tree list so that you can focus quickly on important sessions. The narrowing of the scope by status or branch allows large parallel proxy session groups to be visible.

- What? GitHub Request:

- The combined PR now appears on the toolbar, the detailed information panel and the work card of the branch so that you can immediately confirm that the branch has been delivered so that you know when you can safely clean up the local branch and the work tree.

- The problem of submitting discrepancies that did not correctly identify the unexplored image file and show it as edible was repaired.

- Recovered a “suspension path” error that had been repeated during the conversion of the file/directory name conflict.

- Rehabilitation of the configuration file and repository management line menus that could be visually cut.

- Work tree:

- You can now remove the active work tree directly; Git Kraken will switch back to the main work tree before deleting it.

- Fixing problems that Git Kraken Desktop might be stuck on the start-up screen.

Tuesday, 5 May 2026

- Work tree:

- The new working tree and proxy session now inherits the view settings from the source repository (hidden references, hidden remotes, individual references/telespaces and folding folders/telespaces), so you no longer need to hide branches and remotes after creating the working tree.

- Adding the "Delete the work tree and delete the branch" to the context menu of the work tree to clean up the work tree and its associated branch.

- Proxy Session View:

- Add a three-point menu to the working card in the Agent ' s left panel view.

- You can start the proxy session directly from the context menu of the existing working tree.

- New proxy session forms have been improved to keep options visible and to make branch, coding agent and start-up session controls more user-friendly.

- The basic branch selector in the new proxy session form can now be searched.

- When the proxy session starts, there will be a new “operational” state (if a connection is enabled),Claude. The code may show a different status.

- A visual feedback on the work tree has been added to the " proxy " view to show that the work tree is being deleted.

- Command line:

- You can now open the repository by passing it directly as a parameter (e.g.

- You can now minimize the integration terminal and keep the terminal panel title visible.

- You can now terminate a terminal session directly from the bin icon in the terminal panel title.

- Adds 140%, 150%, 175% and 200% to the standard scaling options in the status bar.

- Upgrade Electron to v41.

- It was repaired because it was deleted. API End caused Bitbucket. The cloud repository is not listed in the cloning dialogue box.

- The problem of the active proxy session may stop showing the "need to respond" status while waiting for user input was repaired.

- The problem of having the application crash when selecting older submissions in the document history view was repaired.

“An agent with a criminal licence.”

- Proxy Session View - Manage, create and monitor parallel AI proxy sessions from a single panel:

- The new proxy session view in the left panel provides a unified dashboard for your work tree and activity proxy session. Each working tree is shown as a card showing its branch, unsubmitted changes, early/late state and associated PR so that you can monitor multiple agents with a clear eye.

- If you use the Claude code, the status of the association agent is shown in the card so that you know when it will work, wait for input or error.

- The New Agent Session creates a working tree, runs your configured settings and starts your coding agent one step at a time - so that you can easily start a parallel task in the new isolation environment.

- Add a set-up command to the Preferences > Proxy to configure each working tree set-up command (dependant to install, build steps, copy of env files) so that the new proxy environment is ready to run automatically.

- When creating a new proxy session, configure your preferred encoding agent in the Inline Options menu, or transfer to the preferred > external tool to set up your proxy and transmit custom CLI parameters when starting the proxy session. This setting currently supports Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode, Copilot CLI and Gemini. CLI (based on automatic detection by installation).

- Adds a setting in Preferences>UI Customises to hide the proxy view switch in the left panel.

- The new proxy session view in the left panel provides a unified dashboard for your work tree and activity proxy session. Each working tree is shown as a card showing its branch, unsubmitted changes, early/late state and associated PR so that you can monitor multiple agents with a clear eye.

- Terminal – Upgraded terminals, you can keep your entire workflow in one window:

- Multiple session support has been added to the embedded terminal to allow a stand-alone terminal session for each work tree in a single tab. Switches the work tree to the relevant terminal session.

- Support for drag-and-drop files and text to terminals was added.

- The default terminal colour theme was updated to improve readability and contrastability.

- Upgrading of the terminal engine (Xterm.js) from v4 to v6, with some major improvements:

- A significant acceleration of retrofitting by optimized WebGL and DOM retrofitters to reduce the main circuit block during the resize of the buffer zone.

- Supported by a multipage texture atlas to improve font rendering and to eliminate the hard cap on previous font storage.

- Better Unicode and emoticon rendering, including the repair of italic emoticons and the processing of wide characters.

- Support for hyphens, additional Powerline fonts and new underlined styles (false lines, nodes, overlines) has been added.

- Synchronization of output prevents scintillation during the fast-up terminal.

- Git Kraken Artificial Intelligence:

- Support for Claude Sonet 4.6 and Claude Opus 4.6 was added when using your own API key.

- When adding your own API key Google Support from Gemini 3.1 Pro (prevision version).

- The abandoned Claude 3.x model (Claude 3.7 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Haiku, Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Opus) was removed from the AI preferences. Users who previously used these models will automatically migrate to Claude 4.6 Sonnet.

- Light cloning settings:

- Now, when adding remote to the storage of light cloning, you can set the light cloning option.

- Storage management tab:

- Adds resizeable columns to the repository name, remote and branch to the repository management tab. The width of the column remains unchanged after the application is restarted.

- Command panel:

- Add all detected IDEs to the "Open with..." option in the command panel (Cmd/Ctrl+P).

- Work tree:

- An option has been added to open the work tree in the new tab with the context menu of the work tree and a reminder after creation.

- Uncorrectly resized terminal panels were repaired to fill the visual problems of available space.

- The problems created from the command line with unsustainable changes in storage that were not shown in the right panel were repaired.

- Fixes the problem of not showing LFS file tags in files in subdirectories.

- Bitbucket users can reassign multiple viewers when creating a pull request.

- Fixes the problem of submitting differences when submitting space changes only and when " Ignore the lead/tailing " is enabled.

- The file with the type change was repaired without the difference icon and did not appear in the temporary/unsuspensed area.

- The problem of shifting the repository or working tree when the terminal panel jumps to the top of the window was repaired.

- Visual feedback was added and duplication was prevented when the work tree was removed from the left panel.

- The problem of the mismatch between columns in “all repositories” groups and other groups in repurchase management was repaired.

- The visual problems of the terminal panel style and filling were repaired.

- Recovered the submission of discrepancies showing all rows as added problems in the following cases:

color.ui = always

Sets in the guit configuration.

- Users running GitKraken Desktop in WSL may have problems starting proxy sessions. Windows The installed coding agent may have priority over the coding agent installed in WSL, thus making it impossible for the agent to run.

- When cloned in Bitbucket storage, because Bitbucket API was discarded, the repository list may not appear in the cloning mode. As a solution, you can clone the repository by pasting the URL directly, or browse it from the Storage Management tab and clone it.
