The VR Crossroad will be launched in 2027.
More detailed information on the sixth Virtua Fighter game will be made available in a special live presentation.
Yakuza Developer RGG Studio has been involved in the new Virtua Fighter project since at least 2024, but little is known about the game, except for the trailers and some game games that are taken out of context. This situation eventually changed at the 2026 Summer Festival with the premiere of the first official preview of the Virtua Lighter Crossroads and the news to be released in 2027.
The trailer is more descriptive than the game, but it does present the new role, Cielo, and the main case of the story model. Close, one-on-one fighting still seems to be the main thrust of the new "Virtua Lighter " — Cielo throwing a man into a cable in a seemingly brutal way — but there may be more stories to build outside the fight championship.
It will soon be confirmed how Vertua Fighter Crossroads is different from the game before the series. Sega and RGG Studio will host " Virtua Firer Crossroads Showcase " at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, at which time more details of the new game will be provided.
