Mini PCs have solid arguments for establishing themselves on our desks, they are compact without sacrificing computing power.
In this area, Chuwi is a specialist with its range of small computers. The Chuwi AuBox model displays impressive features for its value for money, and good news: it is currently available for 348.58 euros on Aliexpress.
The current offer
- A powerful 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor
- A fast USB4 port to connect an external GPU
- Its compact aluminum case is solid and easy to upgrade
Initially marketed at a price of 429.99 euros, the Chuwi AuBox increases to 348.58 euros thanks to the promo code FR6SS50 (the codes SS6FR50 and WIDFRS50 also work). To top it off, an additional discount of 33 euros is automatically added when paying via PayPal, allowing you to obtain this mini PC for only 315.58 euros.
An ultra-compact and scalable aluminum case
The Chuwi AuBox has a neat aesthetic, it moves away from the usual soulless black plastic cases. Designed in an elegant aluminum alloy chassis measuring only 15 cm on the side and 4.5 cm in height, this mini PC will find its place on any desk without taking up space. Its compactness even allows it to be attached to the back of a compatible screen thanks to its VESA support provided.
Under the hood, one of the great strengths of this configuration is its ease of evolution. Unlike many ultra-compact computers where all the components are soldered, the AuBox can be dismantled very simply from below.
This gives you access to two slots for RAM memory in DDR5 SODIMM format, as well as two M.2 slots to expand the PCIe 4.0 SSD storage according to your future needs.
A fast Ryzen 7 processor coupled with cutting-edge connectivity
Powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS chip with 8 cores and 16 threads, the Chuwi AuBox ensures excellent fluidity in all common tasks, whether intensive office automation, programming or light content creation. Its integrated Radeon 780M GPU allows you to try video games or emulation in very good conditions. The cooling is of good quality to maintain stable temperatures without excessive noise pollution.
But it is on the connectivity side that it surprises the most. In addition to an HDMI port and a DisplayPort capable of powering up to four screens in 4K at 144 Hz simultaneously, it especially includes a USB4 port at 40 Gb/s. The latter opens the door to connecting an external graphics card (eGPU) for the most demanding creators or gamers. Add to that a dual 2.5G Ethernet port and you have a real goldmine for enthusiasts of networks and home servers.
