Cybersecurity McAfee (Mackfield) recently revealed that a malicious carp platform called “WeedHack” is launching a massive attack against Minecraft players, which has been identified as causing more than 116,000 computer infections, and that the number of equipment affected is increasing by about 2000 to 3000 per day.

McAfee noted that hackers lured players to download models with malicious wooden horses in two ways, making YouTube videos and producing a Mod model fishing website, while using the search engine bid ranking mechanism to increase the weight of the site and attract users to download modules. Once the player successfully downloads a module with a malicious carpenter, the hacker can access the various account codes on the player ' s equipment and even further real-time access to victims ' cameras, screens and local files.

The researcher's monitoring law found that 850 members of the corresponding channel, most of whom are mala fides, are teenagers, who are not seeking to extort money, but are harassing and bullying other players.
