According to information from IT House on 2 June, the X platform owner @hermita akiba today, a 2026 computer exhibition in Taipei brought MS-RX580 2048SP 6H 8G graphic cards with six HDMI interfaces connecting six 4K monitors.
It was described that the graphic card could drive up to 6 4K monitors, although the replacement rate was only 30 Hz. The blogger speculated that the graphic card was not intended for traditional game players, but rather for commercial multi-screen scenarios such as digital signs, surveillance centres, etc.
At the same time, the card is of quite a tight size, only 174 mm in length, and is designed as a single fan with an 8pin power supply interface.
As a reference, in 2018, AMD launched RX 580 2048SP graphic cards for the mainland market in China, which have 2048 current processors and 8GB GDDR5 display (256-bit width). Its actual specifications are closer to the RX 570 of the Polaris (IT House Note: Arctic Star) structure, instead of the regular version of RX 580 of 2304 current processors.
Although the Polaris architecture, which was first visible in 2016, has long been withdrawn from the AMD mainstream-driven updating system, AMD still maintains an independent maintenance branch for the Polaris and Vega product lines in 2023 and continues to provide critical security updates and functional repairs.
However, it was an accident to see the old card re-entering almost 10 years ago in the TRTX 50 and RDNA 4 computer exhibition 2026.
