Recently, a number of low-cost entry-types have been introduced on the laptop market (mainly concentrated at 3,000-5,000 dollar rates) to refer to the label “Macbook Neo”. This type of machine is widely loaded with a brand-new Intel Core 5-320 processor (not so wise i, nor Ultra, but “purely”, so-called smart), which is the primary entry point.
Today we will briefly introduce the new Core 300 series.
What's Core 300?
In fact, we have given the Kopp “Core” series of processors more than once, such as the previous 100-200 series, which were essentially a continuous vest of smarti, and the structure still being Alder Lake or Raptor Lake (or the Bartlett Lake derived from them, which is a marginal/inlined computational platform), which is mainly aimed at OEM brands or low-end laptop markets such as Core 5-120 (essentially i-5-12400), Core 5-210H (essentially i-5-13420H), Core 5-220H (essentially i-5-13500H), etc., which is very common in the market.

The new Core 300 series is also a low-end orientation, but no longer a 12--14 generation-wise “save”, but it is a complete “low-end” version of the new Core Ultra 300 series of laptop processors, in exchange for the new Wildcat Lake architecture. The Core 300 series consists of a total of seven models, divided into three, five and seven, with a maximum of six cores (up to a maximum of two P+4 LPEs) and a low level of effort.
Core 300 series processor specifications
In terms of specifications, Core 5 and Core 7 are essentially the same, a combination of 2P+4LPE 6 core 6 threads, even Core 3-305.NPU) Only the bottom-end Core 3-304 uses a 5-nuclear 5-range (1P+4LPE). It needs to be noted that this generation processor does not have the traditional E-nuclear (energy-efficient nuclear, commonly known as “small nuclear”), replaced by an enhanced version of the LPE nuclear (low-energy-efficient nuclear, commonly known as “small nuclear”). Combined with the addition of the Intel 18A process (2nm level), the Core 300 series is very low.
Core 5-320 Basic
• Carrying Core 5-320 notes Ben.
Corre 5-320 uses a 6-nucleus 6 linear design (2*P+4*LPE) and is the main entry-type option, with the same specifications. Two performance nuclear main frequency 1.5 GHz, Wise frequency 4.6 GHz; four low-energy, efficient nuclear main frequency 1.4 GHz, Wise frequency 3.4 GHz, L3 cache only 6MB, a combination that meets a small number of high-load tasks superheavy and light-volume quantification tasks and ensures the flow flow of basic operations. Core 5-320 also carries its own NPU unit, which provides 16 TOPS AI calculator, core card 2*Xe, frequency 2.50GHz, to meet the operational needs of some light quantitative games.
R23 test for Core 5-320
Core 5-320 has a great advantage over N100, which is equivalent to an increase of two P-nukes over N100, with a higher ceiling for the release of power, a stronger core card, and a daily experience of 1008,000 miles. For performance, in the R23 test (in 25W mode), the processor is divided into 1796 pts for one line and 7744 pts for multi-line. In contrast, the one-way courses of the desktop I3-12100F were divided into 1641 pts and the multi-lined 8118 pts, which are more closely related overall. However, the tests fall into the test, i3-12100F, which is four P-nucles of eight degrees, all of which can be used as the main force and support super-wire technology, in any case more stable and practical than the "size-size" combination of 2P+4LPEs like Core 5-320.
Core 5-320 power release cap
Core 5-320 ' s most recognized advantage is not performance, but the temperature of effort. Its 15W base low-capacity +35W dynamic and smart-wiss mechanism fits into the logic of use of the introductory text: light-loading scenes are extremely power-saving, low-capacity and heat-taking in day-to-day operations, dramas, page browsing; short-duration heavy scenes can raise the TPP ceiling and thus enhance performance.

Objectively, the bulk of the Core 5-320 processor is new, but it is a basic experience that perfects the introductory notebook, not an industrial breakthrough. The 18A process, controllable power, stable base performance, and the NPU unit ' s AI calculus were increased to free it from the poor quality experience of chips such as Intel N100, AMD Dr. R2312/2314, which is a qualified, secure entry level processor, but with clear performance limits and clear short plates.
For users with a lower budget, who need only basic office learning and have no high expectations of performance, the new set-up plus the additional national value would be reasonable (it is recommended to choose a type of around $3,000). Core 5-320 performances may be difficult to achieve for users who pursue a fluid multitasking, low-intensity creation, play and entertainment.
By the way, the mobile version of i3-1215U, released by Intel in 2022 with 12 generations of cool-wirei, was too low for almost no notebooks at the time, and it was a 6-nucleus 8-step (2P+4E) and a core card with 64EU, which did not feel much weaker than Core 5-320.
