CCPA Consumer Rights
Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (§1798.100 et seq.)
The CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, grants California residents specific rights regarding their personal information.

1. Right to Know (§1798.100, §1798.110)
You may request disclosure of the following over the past 12 months:
- Categories of personal information collected;
- Categories of sources;
- Business or commercial purpose;
- Categories of third parties shared with;
- Specific pieces of personal information collected;
- Categories of information sold or disclosed for business purpose.
How to Exercise
- Email privacy@aimode.news with subject “CCPA Right to Know Request”;
- Specify categories or specific pieces;
- Verify identity (see Verification Process);
- We respond within 45 days.
2. Right to Delete (§1798.105)
You may request deletion of your personal information. We will delete from our records and direct service providers to do the same.
Exceptions
- Complete transactions or provide requested services;
- Detect security incidents or protect against fraud;
- Debug errors impairing functionality;
- Exercise free speech rights;
- Comply with legal obligations (billing records retained 7 years);
- Engage in public research;
- Internal uses compatible with context of collection.
3. Right to Opt-Out of Sale (§1798.120)
In the preceding 12 months, we have not sold any personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. If our practices change, we will provide a “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link on our homepage.
4. Right to Non-Discrimination (§1798.125)
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, provide different quality, or suggest you will receive different treatment.

Verification Process
- Account holders (categories): Match email to account.
- Account holders (specific pieces/delete): Two-point verification — match email + confirm verification code sent to that email.
- Non-account holders: Match provided info to our records; may request additional info.
- Authorized agents: Written authorization + agent identity verification. May require direct consumer confirmation for sensitive requests.
